Barbara Perry Peardon

Barbara Perry (Bisbee) Peardon, 99, of Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Life Care Center of Attleboro in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph John Peardon, who died on July 18, 2006.Born on October 7, 1917 in the Hyde Park section of Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Howard Bisbee and Hazel (Perry) Bisbee.Barbara graduated from Hyde Park High School. She was a loving Homemaker, and with her husband, was the owner and operator of the Graham-Peardon Funeral Home in Hyde Park, MA. Barbara later worked for the Carroll-Thomas Funeral Home in Hyde Park, before retiring.A resident of Attleboro for the past fourteen years, Barbara was an active and engaging woman who for many years was a member of numerous civic and community organizations. She enjoyed her homes on Cape Cod, in Florida and New Hampshire, summer trips to Maine, crocheting, kitting, ceramics, reading, crossword puzzles, and animals of most every kind. Barbara enjoyed clothes shopping and always took great pride in her appearance. She is survived by her loving children: Cynthia J. Freeman of Gloucester, VA; Anne L. Randall of Gloucester, VA; Susan B. Galvin of Foxboro, MA; and John R Peardon, Jr. of Buzzards Bay, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren.
