Barbara Mae McGinn, 57, of Mt. Vernon Ave., North Attleboro, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center surrounded by her loving family and friends after a long battle against cancer. Born in Sallisaw, Oklahoma on November 23, 1953, she was a daughter of Byron E. Henning (deceased) and Helen L. (Young) Henning. She was raised in Leadville, Colorado and graduated from Lake County High School, Leadville, CO in 1972 and Midwest Business College, Colorado Springs, CO in 1974. Barbara also resided in the Republic of Germany, Rhode Island, Louisiana, New Jersey, and Westborough, Massachusetts before settling in North Attleboro in 1993. Barbara enjoyed traveling and the time she spent with her family and friends. She ended her working career as a Payroll Specialist at PAYCHEX in Foxborough, MA where she made many fine friends who were a comfort and support to her during her extended battle with cancer and in her final days. Their loving support and assistance is remembered and appreciated by her family. Mrs. McGinn leaves a husband: Stephen R. McGinn of North Attleboro; a daughter: Amy H. Battocletti and her husband Robert Battocletti of Westerly, RI; a son: Michael V. McGinn of North Attleboro, MA; a mother and sister: Helen L. Henning and Byrana Wesson of Vian, Oklahoma; a brother: Roger Henning of Blythe, California: a brother and sister-in-law: Stanley Dwight and Karen Henning of Leadville, CO; and nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews, numerous extended family members, and many good friends. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a visitation on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 5:00 8:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
