Barbara A. Long

Barbara A. Long (Johnson) 93, formerly of Plainville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 26, 2023 surrounded by her loving family at home in Bradenton, Florida. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Long.
Born in Pawtucket, RI., on February 11, 1930; she was the daughter of the late Charles and Catherine (Falconer) Johnson.
Barbara enjoyed being outdoors, sitting by the pool and looking at all the beautiful flowers and butterflies.
She is survived by her loving children, Timothy D. Long of  Dennis, MA; Thomas A. Long and his wife Maureen of Scottsdale, AZ; Theodore C. Long and his wife Corey of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Tyler E. Long and his wife Nancy of Bellingham, MA; Todd W. Long and his wife Patricia of North Attleboro, MA; Terrance W. Long and his husband Joe Wasser- Long of Rotonda, Florida; Sara A. McAlice and her husband Bob of Bennett, Colorado; Sharon J. Tomany and her husband James of  Bradenton, Florida; Sally Cook and her husband Doug of Rotonda, Florida and Stephanie Briggs and her late husband Norman of  Punta Gorda, Florida. She is also survived by many cherished grandchildren, many dear great-grandchildren, a brother, John Johnson and his wife Ruth and sister-in-law, Eleanor Johnson.  She was the sister of the late Richard Johnson and Bruce Johnson and his late wife Beverly.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am followed by a funeral service at 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Barbara's burial will follow in Oak Knoll Cemetery, 310 Tremont Street, Rehoboth, MA.
