Barbara Jean (Cabral) Jillson, 76, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away surrounded her loving family on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the HopeHealth Hospice in Providence, Rhode Island. She was the beloved wife of Leon W. Jillson III to whom she was married on November 9, 1968.
Born in Attleboro, MA on July 11, 1948, she was the only daughter of the late Joseph Peter Cabral and the late Mary Josephine (Barbieri) Cabral. She was raised and educated in North Attleboro, MA where she was a 1966 graduate of North Attleboro High School, and she later attended cosmetology school.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an assembler for Mason Box in North Attleboro, MA.
She was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St, Mary's, North Attleboro, MA.
Barbara and her family treasured trips to Aruba for more than 30 years and trips to Pennsylvania for more than 45 years.
In addition to her husband of almost 56 years, she leaves her cherished daughter: Amy E. Killingsworth and her husband, William E. Killingsworth, of North Attleboro, MA; her adored granddaughter: Danielle Devin of Attleboro, MA; her two treasured great grandchildren: Rylee Smith and Ameslee Devin both of Attleboro, MA; her two brothers: Joseph Cabral and his wife, Joyce Cabral, of Greenville, RI and James Cabral of North Attleboro, MA
She was the maternal grandmother of the late Lee Killingsworth.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Thursday, October 17, 2024, anytime from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
All are welcome to join the funeral cortege on Friday, October 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. from the “Memorial Chapel” of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mary's, Park Street, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Towne Street, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
