Barbara Andrea Guilbault

Barbara Andrea (Bent) Guilbault, 63, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at her home with her family at her side.  She was the beloved wife of Paul H. Guilbault, whom she married on August 5, 2006.
Born on February 9, 1958, in Cranston, RI, she was the daughter of the late Jack Bent and the late Elizabeth "Betty" (Soscia) Bent.
Raised and educated in Cranston, she was a graduate of Cranston High School, Class of 1976.
A resident of Attleboro since 2005, Barbara worked for seven years as the Assistant Treasurer and Tax Collector for the Town of Mansfield, MA, until her retirement in March 2021.
A warm, kind woman with the sweetest of smiles, she cherished spending time with her family and at home.  Barbara enjoyed crafting and interior decorating and was an ardent gardener who loved working in her yard and "exterior decorating" as it was known within her family. She will be greatly missed by her treasured Miniature Schnauzers: "George" and "Minnie".
In addition to her husband, Paul, she leaves her loving children: Jeffrey Ovaginian of Johnson, RI, and Jacqueline Ovaginian of Ayer, MA, and stepchildren: Paulette A. Guilbault of Olympia, WA, and Paula J. Guilbault of Worcester, MA.  She was the dear sister of Jeffrey Bent and his wife, Ava, of Cranston, RI; William Bent of Warwick, RI; Randy Bent of Louisville, KY; and the late Lawrence Bent and the late Valerie Bent.  Barbara was the adoring grandmother of Georgiana Canata, and leaves several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends.
With strict adherence to Covid-19 precautions, including social distancing and the use of facemasks, relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Visitation on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Funeral and Celebration of Life Service at 10:30 a.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Graveside Service immediately following the funeral and celebration of life service in Mount Hope Cemetery and Arboretum, Attleboro Falls, MA.
