Awadh Kishore Pandey, 71, of Plainville, Massachusetts, passed away on Friday, January 1, 2016 at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York, New York. He was the beloved husband of Malti Pandey. Born on August 4, 1944 in Bihar, India, he was the son of Muneshwar Pandey and Ohaivati Pandey. Awadh received his undergraduate degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, a Master of Science degree from UCLA, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He retired in 2015 after working for many years as an Engineer in the field of Material Science, most recently with Eaton Aerospace Group in East Providence, Rhode Island, and previously with General Electric and with Texas Instruments. In addition to his wife, Malti, he is survived by his cherished children: Veena (Pandey) Choudhari; Rashmi (Pandey) Tawil; and Rajesh K. Pandey; two sisters, and six treasured grandchildren. Friends and relatives are cordially invited to attend a ritual Hindu service on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, ¾ mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
