Audrey E. West

Audrey E. (Farris) West, 69, of Campus Road, South Attleboro, died on March 1, 2012 at the Epoch Senior Healthcare of Norton. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on May 2, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Harold and Ethel (Barnes) Farris. Raised in the Chartley section of the Town of Norton, Mrs. West was a graduate of Norton High School. She resided in South Attleboro for most of her life. Mrs. West was employed as a payroll clerk for the former Interpay Company and the company's successor, Paychex in Mansfield for a total of 17 years of dedicated service. Her favorite pastimes included time spent creating ceramic artwork, shopping and knitting hats to donate to newborns and children. She adored the fictional character, "Scooby Doo". She leaves two children: Pamela J. St. Martin of Blackstone and Matt D. West of South Attleboro; a grandson: James Bustos of Blackstone; a great grandson: Isaiah Bustos of Blackstone; a brother: Richard Farris in Maine and several extended family members and friends. She was the sister of the late Beverly Cahoon. Visitation is respectfully omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 11:00 AM in the "Memorial Chapel" of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue (exit 5 off I-95 N or S, go right at end of ramp, mile on left), Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro. Burial will be private in Oak Knoll Cemetery, Rehoboth. Children's room available during the Memorial Service. An invitation will be extended following cemetery services to join the family for a time of continued fellowship and refreshments at a location to be announced.
