Audrey R. (Johnson) Cote

Audrey Ruth (Johnson) Cote, 72, of Attleboro, MA died on March 7, 2022, at Attleboro Healthcare following a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of James Joseph Cote to whom she was married on July 18, 1970.
Born in Attleboro, MA on February 9, 1950, she was a daughter of the late George Johnson and the late Florence (Stafford) Johnson. She had resided in Attleboro, North Attleboro and Plainville.
Mrs. Cote was a homemaker dedicated to her family.
She worshipped at Faith Alliance Church in Attleboro.
Her favorite pastimes included listening to worship music, coloring, drawing, and spending time with her feline companions.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son: Timothy James Cote and his wife, Emilie (Rancourt) Cote, of Attleboro, MA; two grandchildren: Averie Cote and Chloe Cote both of Attleboro, MA; her siblings: John Johnson and his wife, Janice Johnson, of Seekonk, MA; Barbara Howarth in Florida; and Carole Campbell and her husband, Richard Campbell, in Georgia and several extended family members including the loving and supportive sister-in-law: Janet Holt and her husband, Steve Holt, of Mansfield.
Mrs. Cote was the mother of the late Bonnie Cote who died in 1997 and was the sister of the late George Johnson, June Crook, and William Johnson. She was the "sister" to her niece - the late Kendra Hutter. She was also the sister-in-law of the late Sister Barbara Cote, R.S.M.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Monday, March 14, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A Funeral Service will follow visitation at 12:00 noon in the "Memorial Chapel" of the funeral home.
Burial will follow at North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro.
