Audrey Ann (Harris) Sadler Morse, 90, of North Easton, MA; formerly of Attleboro, MA; passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 5, 2022. She was the wife of the late George "Howard" Morse, Jr. to whom she was married in 1990 and who died on April 15, 2020, and the late Thomas G. Sadler, III who died on March 20, 1984.
Born in Castleton, New York on May 7, 1931, she was a daughter of the late Remington Irving Harris and the late Onna "Anna" Mae (Prins) Harris. She was raised and educated in New York where she was a 1948 graduate of Albany High School.
Always a woman of grace and elegance, after high school and prior to her marriage, she was a model in New York City.
She later devoted her life to raising her family and enjoyed travelling throughout the world and spending time at her favorite retreat in Vieques, Puerto Rico.
Mrs. Sadler Morse was committed to pageantry, having been a teacher at the Barbizon Modeling and Acting School and coached young women for the Miss Rhode Island and Miss America pageants.
A resident of North Easton since 1990, she previously resided in Attleboro, MA.
She attended the Second Congregational Church, Attleboro, MA, to which she donated generously of her time and financial resources.
A longtime volunteer, she donated her time to the American Heart Association, Sturdy Memorial Hospital and Capron Park Zoo.
Her family maintained a summer home in the Touisset neighborhood of Warren, RI for many generations where she was an active engaged member of the Touisset Point Community Club.
She treasured the time spent playing tennis, cross country skiing and boating.
Left to mourn her loss are two children: Thomas M. Sadler and his wife, Cynthia G. (Gammell) Sadler, of Warren, RI and Joel Stephen Sadler and his wife, Mary Elizabeth (Bissen) Sadler, of Londonderry, New Hampshire; four grandchildren: Katherine E. Sadler of Boston, MA; Victoria S. Karlsen of Providence, RI; Christina Guay of Milford, NH; and Laura J. Sadler of Londonderry, NH; a great grandchild: Kaiden Guay of Milford, NH; two stepchildren: Pamela Smith of North Attleboro, MA and George "Chip" H. Morse III of North Easton, MA; five step grandchildren and four step great grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late David Harris Sadler who died on November 3, 1974 and was the sister of the late Barbara Harris Sweet.
A private Celebration of Life Service will be held in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Mrs. Sadler Morse's name and honor may be made to the American Heart Association or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
