Assunta R. Carr

Assunta (Rossi) Carr, 97, of Deland, FL, formerly of North Attleboro and Mansfield, MA, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 21, 2018 at her home in Deland, FL.  She was the beloved wife of the late John T. Carr III, to whom she was married on May 23, 1943 and who died in 1996.
Born on August 15, 1921 in Mansfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Lucia (Lessa) Rossi.
Mrs. Carr worked for many years for the McGill Box Company in Plainville, MA, until retiring.
She was a warm, kind woman who loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who survive her.
She was the loving mother of the Angelina Delfino of Deland, FL, and the late John T. Carr Jr.; and leaves several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Carr was predeceased by several siblings.
Private graveside services will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery, North Attleboro, MA.
