Arthur J. Vegiard Jr.

Arthur Joseph Vegiard, Jr., 71, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly on August 9, 2025, at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA., surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was happily married to Roxanne E. (Trombley) Vegiard for the past 36 years.

Born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on June 23, 1954, he was the son of the late Mary Helen (Zielinski) Vegiard.

He was employed as a small engine mechanic, having previously worked at J&M Mowers, in Central Falls, Rhode Island. Art found joy in listening to music and spending time with his friends at the VFW post in North Attleboro, MA. Above all, he treasured time he spent with his dear family and friends, valuing those moments immensely.

In addition to his wife, he leaves his loving daughter, Lindzey Vegiard and her fiancé, Kyle Moore, of Attleboro, MA; his two cherished grandchildren, Oakleigh Moore and Remington Moore; his devoted siblings, Peter Vegiard and his wife, Cheryl Vegiard, and Karen Milton and her husband, Robert Milton and his niece, Toni Vegiard and nephews, Peter Vegiard Jr. and Michael and Gregory Diette.

Family and friends are warmly welcome to attend visitation on Tuesday, August 26, 2025, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

A Funeral Service Celebrating His Life will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, 825 North Main Street, Attleboro, MA.
