Arthur W. Poulin

Arthur William Poulin, 82, of Coventry, RI, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Coventry Center Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Coventry, RI. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne Lucille Poulin, to whom he was married on June 28, 1958.Born on February 7, 1936 in West Warwick, RI, he was the son of the late Samuel and Eva (Hebert) Poulin.Arthur proudly and honorably served our country from 1954 until 1957 as a member of the United States Army Paratroopers. He then worked for thirty three years as a Foreman for Electric Boat in Groton, CT, before retiring in 1991.A resident of Coventry for many years, he previously lived in West Warwick, RI.Arthur was an avid golfer who enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo, and taking trips to Florida, especially to the Tampa area. More than anything, he loved spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Jeanne, he is survived by his loving children: Deborah J. Poulin of FL; Arthur G. Poulin and his wife, Renee (Plante) Poulin, of Coventry, RI; Gail L. Coutu and her husband, Manual Coutu, of West Warwick, RI; and Linda A. Poulin of Coventry, RI. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and leaves his dear sister, Rose Caine of Coventry, RI. Arthur was predeceased by several brother and sisters, and leaves numerous nieces and nephews.All services will be privately held.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Arthur's name to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
