Arthur Lincoln Phillips Jr.

Arthur Lincoln Phillips Jr., 83, of Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at his residence on Thursday, November 4, 2021. He was the husband of Theresa A. (Vezina) Phillips whom he married on August 20, 2005.
Born in Pawtucket, RI on March 1, 1938, he was a son of the late Arthur Lincoln Phillips Sr. and the late Mary E. (Owen) Phillips.
Raised and educated in Rhode Island, Arthur was a graduate of Burrillville High School and was a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Nursing and Wentworth Institute of Technology.
He proudly and honorably served his country as a member of the United States Air Force with active service and reserves for 20 years.
Arthur was employed as a Registered Nurse at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, the Community Visiting Nurse Agency, and Tufts Children's Floating Hospital in Boston.
A resident of Attleboro for the past four years, he previously lived in Pembroke, MA. He attended All Saints Anglican Church in Attleboro.  He was a member of the Excelsior Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons in Medway, MA.
Arthur's favorite pastimes included tending to his vegetable and flower gardens, boating, riding his motorcycle, and communicating on his ham radio. He had a lifelong love for animals, particularly his canine companion, "Bristles".
In addition to his wife of 16 years, he leaves three stepdaughters; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and his son-in-law, as well as  many extended family members and dear friends.  He was the father of the late Deryl "Mickey" Ila (Phillips) Parenteau who died on December 18, 2018.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation with Veteran's Honors on Tuesday, November 9, 2021, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Friends and relatives are invited to attend the Funeral and Celebration of Life Service on Wednesday, November 10, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial with full military honors will follow in Union Cemetery, North Smithfield, RI.
The use of facemasks and social distancing is encouraged by the family for those in attendance.
