Arthur "Chum" A. DeBlois Jr., 81, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Patricia (Goudreau) DeBlois. They were happily married for 59 years. Born in Attleboro, MA, on July 7, 1942, he was the son of the late Arthur A. DeBlois Sr., and Dorothy (Cooper) DeBlois. Chum was a glass setter, glass moonlighter and a food service delivery driver prior to his retirement. In addition, he proudly served in the Army Reserves. He was a member of the Parkinson's Neuro Wellness Program at the Attleboro YMCA , a 44 year member of the North Attleboro Elks, Bristol County Hot Rod Association, and the Pharoahs Car Club of E. Dedham MA. Chum had a lifelong passion for toy modeling, toy collecting, and all things NASCAR. His greatest joy was simply time spent with his family and friends. From his cousins to his nieces and nephews, Chum was always the most sought out person everywhere he went. That is, if you could get him away from his grandchildren - whom he absolutely adored. Besides his wife, Pat, he is survived by his loving daughters: Wendy Meyer and her husband, Ronald "Bo", of North Attleboro, MA; and Alicia Moriarty and her husband, James, of North Attleboro, MA. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Meaghan Meyer; Myranda Meyer and boyfriend, Matt Reardon; Evan Moriarty and his wife, Nicole; Aaron Moriarty and his girlfriend, Julie Brouillard; and Sophia Moriarty and her boyfriend, Thomas Neto; and his sister-in-law, Linda DeBlois. He was the devoted brother of the late Ronald DeBlois.
