April Sue Hardy

April Sue Hardy, 56, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on June 17, 2024.
Born in Alexandria, Virginia, on January 6, 1968, April was beloved by her family.  She is survived by her parents, John P. Hardy of Florida, and Kristine A. (Peckham) Brown of Wrentham, MA; her daughters, Krystal M. Ferns and Emily St. Don of North Attleboro, MA; her sons, Robert St. Don and Christopher St. Don of Kentucky; her sister, Jennifer Hardy, of Wrentham; her nephew, Alden Hardy, of Wrentham; and many aunts, cousins, friends and colleagues.
April was a devoted mother to her children.  Her dedication to her family brought her great joy.  She especially loved family dinner nights, dancing to country and western music, and playing darts.
April was known for always being an integral part of her community.  She was a graduate of King Philip High School's class of 1986. Later, she earned a Criminal Justice degree.  From driving a Houle's taxicab in her younger years to managing the local AutoZone until her passing, April cherished her customers and went out of her way to provide an outstanding experience.  In her spare time, April was also a champion for lost and hurt animals.  She even constructed feral cat houses for a local animal shelter.  She will always be remembered for her happy demeanor, infectious laughter and smile, and her loving, inspiring soul.
Family and friends are cordially invited to attend April's Celebration of Life on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 1-5 pm at 50 Jefferson Street, North Attleboro, MA - VFW Post #443.  Calling hours will be from 1-3, and from 3-5, we will celebrate April by sharing stories. All are welcomed to share something fun or heart-felt.
In lieu of flowers, April's family welcomes you to give a photo of April with friends for our keepsake.  Please include a story about the picture on the reverse side.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, North Attleboro, Massachusetts.
