Anthony "Tony" Peter Franceschelli

February 11, 1947 — May 28, 2022

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Anthony Peter Franceschelli of Attleboro on May 28, 2022.
Tony was born and raised in Boston with his brother, Michael, to parents Concetta and Anthony Franceschelli. He graduated with a degree in journalism and went on to enjoy a 50-year career in radio. He is survived by the love of his life and best friend, Susan, to whom he was married for 37 years, his children, in whom he took great pride: Chris Franceschelli and Tory Franceschelli Kirkpatrick of Phoenix, Arizona; Gabrielle Franceschelli, of Boston, MA; and his grandchildren: Callie and Coltton Kirkpatrick.
He enjoyed fiction novels, home landscaping projects, New England sports, and cruising in his convertible. Above all else, Tony cherished celebrating life with family and friends where you could find him cranking up the music and playing bartender.
Repeatedly described as "the life of the party" and a "class act", Tony had the ability to make anyone he met feel immediately comfortable; he had a caring soul balanced with an unbelievable sense of humor. Those who knew him will miss him deeply, while taking comfort in the impact his optimism had on others. He will always be remembered with a smile on his face.
There will be a private celebration of life in the coming months, as that's what Tony would have wanted. To quote Frank Sinatra, he did it "My Way".
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Tony's name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
