Annette I. Chase, a long-time resident of Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed peacefully, surrounded by her family on June 2, 2024, at the age of 87.
Born to the late Edward and Margaret (Lavoie) Lamoureau, she lived a life filled with love, adventure, and deep connections to her family.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 47 years, Walter H. Chase. Together, they had a bond that transcended time and left an indelible mark on those around them. Annette and Walter shared a passion for travel, often embarking on camping adventures across the country and enjoying summers on Cape Cod. She found solace and joy in gardening and the beauty of nature, but her greatest love was her family.
Annette is survived by her devoted daughters: Cindy DiGiacomo and husband John, of Port Charlotte, Fl , Susan Chase-Nelson of Belchertown, MA, Laura Capozzoli and husband Paul of Midlothian, VA, and sons Dan Chase and wife Katherine Pemberton of Burlington, VT, Tim Chase of Truckee, CA, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Her journey was also marked by the love and support of her partner, George (Chick) Sousa, whose steadfast presence was a source of comfort and strength throughout their time together.
A Gathering of Remembrance will be held on June 8th from 2-4 PM at the Attleboro Elks Lodge, where friends and family will gather to honor Annette's life and memories.
Burial will be private.
