Anna Veronika Bolton

Anna Veronika (Klerfors) Bolton, 46, of Bellingham, MA passed away on Friday, September 4, 2015 at Countryside Health Care of Milford in Milford, MA. She was the beloved wife of Keith A. Bolton, to whom she was married at Bethany Village Fellowship in Attleboro, MA on November 13, 1999, two months after she came to the United States and first met Keith. Born in Boras, Sweden on July 20, 1969, she was a daughter of Gunnar Levi Klerfors and Gullan Elsa Margareta Klerfors. Veronika, as she was known to many, received her primary and secondary education in Sweden and then attended Bristol Community College. She previously resided in Attleboro, MA before moving to Bellingham. She was a member of New Beginnings Christian Fellowship in Plainville, MA, and enjoyed work as a child care teacher at the Attleboro YMCA, as well as at Next Generation Children's Center in Walpole, MA. She previously worked as a private nanny in North Attleboro. She was expert in hand crafts, knitting, sewing, and crocheting, and delighted in the joy of making baby clothing. She loved to travel, enjoying dual citizenship in both her native Sweden and her adopted United States. Veronika considered it a privilege to teach children, and had previously taught Sunday School in Sweden. She was a vegetarian and one who thoroughly enjoyed cooking. Veronika treasured being part of a very close family, and truly valued her many friends and extended family. In addition to her cherished husband, Keith, and her loving parents, she is survived by her brother, Christian A. Klerfors; her sister, Jeanette Eva Scott; and her brothers Alexander Olaf Klerfors and Michael Lars Klerfors; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernest B. Bolton and Jean R. (Sowersby) Bolton of Swansea, MA; one sister-in-law and two brothers-in-law, her aunts, uncles and numerous cousins, and her true faithful companions, "Vicki", a rescue dog, and "Keiver", who she had as a pup. Family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Service on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at the South Attleboro Assembly of God, 1052 Newport Avenue, South Attleboro, MA 02703. All who knew and loved Veronika are welcome to join in an upbeat and positive celebration of her life, as she requested. Please wear bright colors and casual dress. Burial services will be private.
