Ann B. (Trima) Wills, 78, of Plainville, passed away with peace on Friday, September 25, 2020 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital surrounded by the love of family and close friends following a brief illness. She was the wife of James S. Wills to whom she was married on May 30, 1962.
Born in the family home in North Attleboro, MA on July 14, 1942, she was a daughter of the late Americo Victor and Frances Cecilia (Fraioli) Trima. She was raised and educated in North Attleboro where she was a 1960 graduate of North Attleboro High School. She remained a resident of North Attleboro her entire life until moving to Plainville in 1998.
From 1957-1964 Ann was employed by Watch Band, Inc. in North Attleboro and then became a dedicated homemaker to her family.
From 1986 - 1995, she and her husband were the owners of Pine Products. Ann later worked for Walmart as a clerk from 1995 - 2010.
A woman of strong faith and devotion, she was a communicant of the Transfiguration of the Lord Parish - St. Mark where she served on the St. Mark's Guild for many years.
Ann will be forever and lovingly remembered for the love she bestowed her cherished family. Her family was of utmost importance and Ann was a caregiver for family, friends and neighbors.
She treasured the time spent in the kitchen creating traditional Italian dishes.
In addition to her husband of 58 years, she leaves two children: Deborah A. Long and her husband, Gary A. Long, of Plainville and Robert J. Wills and his husband, Will S. Vinson, of Plymouth; a sister: Marion T. Wheaton of Plainville; two grandsons: Sgt. James A. Long, Technical Engineer, U.S. Army and Veteran U.S. Marine Corps and Joseph A. Long of Plainville; aunt of several nieces and nephews. She also leaves extended family and many dear friends. She was the sister of the late Lorenzo "Larry" Trima.
Due to Covid-19, there will be not public visitation or services.
A private celebration of Ann's life will be held on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 followed by burial in the Trima family plot at St. Mary's Cemetery, Attleboro Falls, Massachusetts.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Ann's memory may be made to the Sturdy Memorial Foundation, PO Box 2963, Attleboro, MA 02703 to benefit the Montplasir Hospice Unit or remember Ann and perform a random act of kindness as she so often did.
