Anita Anna May (Bellavance) Vallett, 91, of Hope Gardens, Attleboro, peacefully passed away on Friday, November 27, 2015 at the Maples Nursing Home in Wrentham, MA, where she had resided for the previous year. She was the former wife of Walter F. Vallett. Born on December 31, 1923 in Norton, MA, she was the daughter of Frank Bellavance and Alice (Quinn) Bellavance. Anita attended the Attleboro public schools and was employed as an Assembler and Inspector for many years at Texas Instruments in Attleboro. She attended St. Mary's Catholic Church in Norton, St. Mary's Catholic Church in Seekonk, and St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Attleboro. Anita graciously and generously gave of her time, including as a volunteer at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, Rhode Island Hospital, LaSalette Shrine, and with the Mended Hearts program of Rhode Island. She was an active member of the PEAL Club, the Live WIRES, and the YMCA. She loved line dancing. Anita was happiest when in the company of her adored family and many dear friends. She is survived by her three beloved children: Judith A. (Vallett) Nelson and her husband, William "Bill" Nelson, of Easton, MA; Frederick L. Vallett and his wife, Carol A. Vallett, of Mansfield, MA; and Stephen P. Vallett of Brockton, MA; her cherished seven grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and her great-great grandson. She leaves several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and dear friends. She was the sister of the late Frederick L. Bellavance, Florence L. (Bellavance) Gayton, and Elizabeth G. (Bellavance) Arruda. Visitation has respectfully been omitted. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, One Power Street, Norton, MA 02766.
