Angela Marie Ribeiro

Angela Marie (Lauletta) Ribeiro, 67, of Attleboro, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of Stanley Leroy Ribeiro, whom she married on June 18, 1977, and who passed away on February 19, 2021.
Born on April 9, 1954, in Boston, MA, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Lauletta and the Rita Anne (Sannella) Lauletta.
A graduate of St. Clare's High School, Class of 1972, she worked for fourteen years as a claims adjuster for Prudential Insurance Company before retiring in 1984.
A resident of South Attleboro for the past thirty-three years, Angela previously resided in the Roslindale neighborhood of Boston.
Angela was truly a woman of many diverse interests and passions.  She loved photography; crafts; nature and the outdoors; landscaping; and disco music, especially Donna Summer, with whom shared a special familial connection. A consummate driver with a love of speed, she attended NASCAR school at Pocono Raceway in Pennsylvania, and enjoyed working as a limousine driver, often driving for New England Patriots players. Angela had a profound love of animals and held a special place in her heart for her cherished companion, her dog "Gus", and for her grand-dog, "Kate".
She was the loving mother of Aimey C. Ribeiro of East Madison, ME; Catherine A. Cline and her husband, Michael, of East Sandwich, MA; Susan M. Harney and her husband, Gary, of North Attleboro, MA; and Thomas A. Ribeiro and his companion, Brittany, of Millville, MA.  Angela was the proud and adoring grandmother of Christine, Ryleigh, Jackson, and Leah, and excitedly looking forward to the birth of her newest grandson, Samuel Benjamin.  She was the dear sister of Joanne Lauletta of Norridgewock, ME; Benjamin Lauletta and his wife, Sally, of Wynantskill, NY; and James Lauletta of Boston, MA. She leaves several nieces; her extended family; and many dear friends.
With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing and the use of facemasks, family and friends are cordially invited to attend a Memorial Visitation for Angela on Wednesday, September 15, 2021, from 5:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, followed by a Memorial and Celebration of Life Service at 6:30 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
Burial will be private.
