Angel Lynn Pina, 12, of Balsam Road, Norton, died on Thursday, July 12, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in a single-car motor vehicle accident on Route 24 North in Stoughton. Born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on April 20, 2000 she was a daughter of Timeo Pina of Cape Cod and Sandra L. Ouellette of Norton and was the stepdaughter of Brian W. McGrath of Norton. She had just completed the fifth grade at Norton's H. A. Yelle School and would have entered Norton Middle School in September. She resided in Norton for most of her life with the exception of one year that she lived in Attleboro. Angel will be lovingly remembered for her ability to "light up a room" and for being a friend to everyone. Fun and energetic, she enjoyed making others feel comfortable in all situations. She was the "neighborhood babysitter" for several families. She was happiest when participating in cheerleading. She was a member of the Cheer Factor High Performance Training Center in Foxboro for two and a half years and represented Cheer Nation in Stoughton in competitive events for the past few months. In addition to her parents and stepfather, she leaves five siblings: Damien J. Pina of Norton; Domenic M. McGrath of Norton; Ava J. McGrath of Norton; Harley Pina of Cape Cod and Timeo Pina, Jr. of Cape Cod; maternal grandparents: Paul D. and Janet L. (Munroe) Rogers of Norton; paternal grandparents: Marlene Sylvester and Gene Gomes; a special cousin who was like a "big sister": Stephanie Rogers of Norton and several aunts, uncles, additional cousins, extended family members and dear friends. Visitation and funeral services were conducted privately. A Celebration of Her Life was held on Sunday, July 22, 2012.
