Andrea Vorvis Weeks

Andrea Vorvis Weeks, 59, of South Attleboro, passed away on Friday, February 19, 2016 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence, RI.Born on October 12, 1956 in Stamford, CT, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Vorvis and Maryellen (O'Hagerty) Vorvis.Raised in Stamford, CT, she graduated from Westhill High School, Class of 1976. A resident of South Attleboro for the past six years, she previously lived in Plainville, MA. Andrea was employed at Lens Crafters at the Emerald Square Mall in North Attleboro, and was a homemaker for her family.She enjoyed quilting and sewing, and in the past, playing with "Layla", her daughter's dog. Andrea mostly enjoyed time spent with her family, including her nieces, nephews and cousins. She is survived by her beloved children: Kelley E. Weeks; Edward L. Weeks, Jr.; Andrew J. Weeks; and Megan J. Weeks, all of Plainville, MA; her sisters: Kathleen (Vorvis) Troetti of FL; and Patricia (Vorvis) Esposito of CT; and her brother: Paul Vorvis of CT. She leaves her Godmother: Nouna, of CT. Andrea had looked forward with excitement to the birth of a grandson: Gregory Robert Weeks.
