Allen Robert Crane

Allen Robert Crane, known as "Bob", 60, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Reynolds) Crane, whom he married on April 30, 1994.Born on October 18, 1957 in Attleboro, he was the son of the late Albert Pickering Crane and the late Dorothy Evelyn (Moore) Howland, and the brother of the late David Allen Crane who was born and died in October 1955.A graduate of Norton High School, Class of 1975, he earned his Associate's Degree from the former Rhode Island Junior College, now Community College of Rhode Island, and his Bachelor's Degree in Business from Southern New Hampshire University.Bob was employed by Bank of America in its Lincoln, Rhode Island sales call center.A lifelong resident of Attleboro, the overwhelming love of his life was his family. Bob had a love of life, and especially loved being near the water. He had a booming and contagious laugh, an amazing sense of humor, and could often be found playing Sudoku.In addition to his wife, Susan, Bob leaves his loving son, Charles F. Crane, of Attleboro. He was the dear brother of Debra E. Fobert and her husband, Vincent F. Fobert, of Attleboro Falls. Bob is survived by his nephew David V. Fobert and his wife, Julie (Vagnoni) Fobert, of Hanover, MA; his niece, Valerie J. Jaskela and her husband, J.J. Jaskela, of North Attleboro, MA; his cousin and best friend, Daniel Moore, of Windermere, FL; and his goddaughter, Laura Moore Paquette of Nuevo, CA.
