Allan D. Woodworth Sr., 61, of Attleboro, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2026, in Norwich, Connecticut.

Born in Attleboro on April 26, 1965, he was the beloved son of Ellen Sherman and the late John D. Woodworth Jr. Allan lived in Attleboro for most of his life and was a graduate of Attleboro High School, Class of 1983.

Allan worked for many years as a machinist, spending the majority of his career at THM Inc. in Attleboro. He took great pride in his work and in the knowledge and craftsmanship he developed throughout his career.

Above all, Allan was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was the loving husband of Donna M. Woodworth, with whom he shared 41 cherished years. His greatest pride was his family, and he treasured the time he spent with his wife, sons, grandchildren, and those closest to him.

Allan had a lifelong passion for cooking and especially enjoyed smoking food. He loved trying different flavors, perfecting his meals, and sharing what he made with family and friends. He also loved camping and the outdoors. Ross Hill RV Park & Campground in Lisbon, Connecticut, became a second home and a second family to Allan. He cherished the friendships he made there and the many hours spent around the campfire, cooking and enjoying good times with fellow campers and friends.

A die-hard New England Patriots fan, Allan enjoyed cheering on his favorite team and sharing the excitement of game days with family and friends.

In addition to his father, John D. Woodworth Jr., Allan was predeceased by his sister, Laura Usher of Cumberland, Maine.

Allan is survived by his beloved wife, Donna; his mother, Ellen Sherman; his sons, Allan D. Woodworth Jr. (AJ) and his wife, Lisa, and Scott T. Woodworth; and his cherished grandchildren, Lucas Alexander, Emma Woodworth, Allison Woodworth, Ethan Woodworth, Cole Woodworth, and Liliana Garcia.

He is also survived by his brothers, John D. Woodworth III and his wife, Susan, and Timothy Woodworth, as well as extended family members and many dear friends.

A private graveside service will be held.
