Aline M. Silva

Aline Marie (Pelletier) Silva, 71, of Plainville, MA passed away peacefully on January 7, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the wife of Roger F. Silva to whom she was married on April 29, 1972.
Born in Fall River, MA on May 10, 1951, she was a daughter of the late Joseph A. Pelletier and the late Lorraine M. (Deschene) Pelletier Miller. She was the stepdaughter of the late Burton V. Miller. Raised and educated in Plainville, she later attended and graduated from King Philip Regional High School in 1969.
She was employed as a personal injury claims adjuster in the worker's compensation division of Beacon Mutual Insurance Company in Warwick, Rhode Island for many years.
Mrs. Silva was a longtime communicant of St. Martha's Parish in Plainville.
Through her employment, she was part of a mentor program for the Providence public schools.
Among her favorite pastimes, she enjoyed reading, gardening, going to the movies, her beloved cats, cooking - particularly Christmas Chex Mix as a longtime tradition. However, her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, those left to mourn her loss include her beloved son: Matthew Joseph Silva and his wife, Christine Marie (McDonnell) Silva, of Rehoboth, MA; her cherished grandchildren: Jacob Matthew Silva, Jaxton Michael Silva and Briella Marie Silva all of Rehoboth, MA; her siblings: Paul Pelletier and his wife, Susan (Miller) Pelletier, of Plainville, MA; Collette M. Samsel and her husband, Ervin A. "Sam" Samsel, of Canton, MA; Suzanne T. Fisher and her husband, David Fisher, of Englewood, Florida and Dianne M. Pelletier of Englewood, Florida; several nieces and nephews, extended family and her dear friends and neighbors: Henry and Carolyn Stampfl of Plainville, MA.
Family and friends are cordially invited to Celebrate the Life of Aline Marie Silva by attending visitation on Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 1:00 - 4:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A Funeral Service will follow on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at 4:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
Burial will be private in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
