Alicia Jean MacDonald, 43, of North Attleboro, MA passed away after a short battle with cancer surrounded by the love and care of her family on October 2, 2023, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.
Born in Attleboro, MA on November 4, 1979, she was the daughter of Debra Jean (Blanchard) MacDonald of North Attleboro, MA and the late Thomas Duncan MacDonald.
She was raised in Wrentham and attended Norfolk County Agricultural School in Walpole, MA.
She is lovingly remembered for her free spirit and sense of humor, her patriotism, her love for tattoos and a lifelong passion for animals.
Left to mourn her loss, in addition to her mother, are her siblings: Diana Giarrusso and her husband, Carlo Giarrusso, of Norton, MA; Janeane MacDonald-Scannell and her husband, John Scannell, of Millis, MA and David Brackman of North Attleboro, MA; and many nieces and nephews including her beloved Thea Scannell, 9 years old, of Millis, MA.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Life gathering on Saturday, October 14, 2023, anytime from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.
A time of continued fellowship and refreshment will commence following the gathering at the North Attleboro VFW, 50 Jefferson Street, North Attleboro, MA.
