Alberta Rose (Lamarca) Halley

Alberta Rose (LaMarca) Halley, 81, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at the LifeCare Center of Attleboro on Saturday, December 12, 2020.
Born in the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, MA on August 4, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Agatino and Rosa (Bifano) LaMarca.  She was raised and educated in Dorchester.
Ms. Halley resided in North Attleboro for the past 14 years having previously resided in Walpole and Foxboro.
She had been employed as a bookkeeper for several small businesses prior to her retirement.
Ms. Halley was a former member of the United Church in Walpole and more recently attended Central Congregational Church in Attleboro Falls.
Her favorite times were those spent gardening, caring for plants, socializing with family and friends, and competing in the occasional game of bocce.
She treasured the times traveling having been to Italy on multiple occasions and visiting Aruba, Florida, and Las Vegas.
Proud of her Italian heritage, Alberta was a member of the Norwood Sons of Italy - Lodge 1235.
She leaves two children: Christina M. Fitzgibbon and her husband, Ernest Fitzgibbon, of North Attleboro and Michael C. Halley and his husband, Paul Pornbeck, of Harpursville, New York; four grandchildren: Stephen J. McGrath of North Attleboro; Lindsey Anne Stark and her wife, Rikki Stark, of Danielson, CT; Parker Fitzgibbon and his wife, Shayne Fitzgibbon, of Seattle, WA and Zackary Fitzgibbon of Sturbridge, MA; a great granddaughter: Leona Stark of Danielson, CT; her siblings: Charles LaMarca of Barnstable, MA; Joseph LaMarca of Plymouth, MA and Concetta Malis of Hanover, MA; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  She was the sister of the late Robert LaMarca and James LaMarca.
With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing, the mandatory use of facemasks and space restrictions, relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend Visitation on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
With strict adherence to applicable Covid-19 health precautions, including social distancing, mandatory use of facemasks and space restrictions, relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro.
Burial will follow in North Purchase Cemetery, Attleboro, MA.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Alberta, memorial donations in her name may be made to the Norwood Sons of Italy - Lodge 1235, C/O Steven Eosco, 14 Endicott Street, Norwood, MA 02062.
