Albert Joseph Sawyer, 82, of Plainville, MA, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA.
Born on December 7, 1939, he worked for many years as a security guard for the Plainville Youth Center before retiring.
A warm and kind man, he enjoyed his daily routines: sipping a morning and afternoon coffee and taking frequent walks, especially at his customary fast pace at the mall. He loved the water and the beach and rooting for the New England Patriots. Albert was active with the Living Bread Food Pantry in Plainville and held a special place in his heart for animals of all kinds.
Albert leaves his very dear friend, Kimberley A. Faria of North Attleboro, MA, with whom he cherished spending time.
All services for Albert will be privately held.
