Albert "Al" Joseph Sevigny

Albert "Al" Joseph Sevigny, 72, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 6, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Patricia B. (Stelmack) Sevigny for fifty-two years.Born on March 26, 1946 in Pawtucket, RI, he was the son of the late Alphonse and Irene (Simard) Sevigny. A graduate of Cumberland High School, Class of 1965, he received his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Bryant University in 1969. Al worked for more than twenty-five years as a Certified Public Accountant and, before retiring in 2006, was the Controller for the Community College of Rhode Island. A resident of North Attleboro since 1971, he previously lived in Pawtucket. A longtime member of the Knights of Columbus Council #330 in North Attleboro, he enjoyed sports cars and was a member of the Corvette Club; riding motorcycles; snow skiing; and karate. More than anything, he loved being with his family and his cherished grandchildren.In addition to leaving his wife, Patricia, Al was the loving father of Darlene M. Giusti and her husband, Michael T. Giusti, of North Attleboro, MA; Donald A. Sevigny and his wife, Pauline C. Sevigny, of Ponte Vedra, FL; Darlene's late twin brother, Daniel A. Sevigny; and the late David A. Sevigny and his wife, Cheryl L. (Fram) Sevigny, of West Greenwich, RI. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of James Sevigny, Brandon Sevigny, Ryan Giusti, Rachel Giusti, and Leila Bea Sevigny. Al was the dear brother of Doris Bibby and her husband, David Bibby, of Cumberland, RI, and is survived by his two nephews: Robert Bibby and Michael Bibby. He leaves many dear friends. Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Al by gathering for a Visitation on Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Al's name to either Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
