Agnes Mary (Martasian) Costine, 96, of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, passed away peacefully at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA, on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. She was the beloved wife of the late John Joseph Costine.Born on December 9, 1921 in Providence, RI, she was the daughter of the late George Martasian and Angelina (Capra) Martasian Dennis.A graduate of Tolman High School in Pawtucket, RI, she loved her work in Retail Sales for many years at Wishing Well in Seekonk, MA, retiring in 2005. She worked, well into her eighties, as a "TV Lady" for Sturdy Memorial Hospital.A resident of North Attleboro for the past three years, she previously lived in Attleboro.An active, caring, generous, and giving woman, Agnes was an avid reader who enjoyed crossword puzzles, baking and cooking, knitting, time spent at the beach, particularly in Cape Cod and Galilee, RI, and camping, especially at Campers Haven. More than anything else, Agnes cherished being with her family.She was the loving and much loved mother of Judith A. Lovely of Attleboro, MA, and her late husband, John Irving Lovely; Carolyn J. Gayton and her husband, Ronald F. Gayton Sr., of Attleboro Falls, MA; and Beverly J. Germain and her husband, Bradford S. Germain, of Attleboro, MA. She was the proud and adoring grandmother of ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. Agnes was the dear sister of Mary Mahtasian of Pawtucket, RI, and was predeceased by her siblings: Paul Mahtasian, Elizabeth "Betty" Beckett, and John Mahtasian.
