Virginia "Jean" Ann Cavaliere

Virginia "Jean" Ann (Souto) Cavaliere, 80, of Attleboro, MA, passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.  She was the beloved wife of Patrick "Patsy" A. Cavaliere, to whom she was married on April 19, 1958. Born on December 13, 1937 in Attleboro, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (Boran) Souto. Jean was a lifelong resident of Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. She worked for many years at the Robbins Company before retiring in 1998. A woman of great faith and devotion, she was a longtime member of the former Holy Ghost Church in Attleboro.  She enjoyed cooking, working around her house, dining out, shopping, listening to Elvis Presley, and occasional visits to the casino. More than anything, Jean cherished her role as a homemaker for her beloved family. In addition to her husband, Patsy, she leaves her loving children: David P. Cavaliere and his wife, Robin L. Cavaliere, of North Attleboro, MA; Russell J. Cavaliere and his wife, Kim Cavaliere, of Dacula, GA; and Linda J. Pothier and her husband, Kevin M. Pothier, of North Attleboro, MA.  She was the proud and adoring grandmother of Bryan D. Cavaliere, Taylor Cavaliere, Chelsea Cavaliere, Evan Cavaliere, Michael K. Pothier, and Justin P. Pothier. Jean was the dear sister of Richard Souto of Attleboro, and Joanne Tranter and her husband, Paul Tranter, of Attleboro, and leaves her nieces, Shannon Faye and Kelly Moore, as well as many dear friends. Friends and family are cordially invited to honor and remember Jean by gathering for a Memorial Visitation on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in the Memorial Chapel of Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home.
