Roselene Gately

Roselene Edna (Walker) Gately, 74, of Norwood, MA passed away on November 10, 2021, having been surrounded by her loving family at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. She was the wife of the late Joseph Gately, Sr.
Born in Brockton, MA on July 28, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Maynard Walker and the late Evelyn Walker.
She was employed as a referral coordinator for Steward Medical Group in Brockton prior to her retirement.
Mrs. Gately resided in Norwood, MA for almost two years having previously resided in Plainville and Foxboro.
She attended Trinity Episcopal Church, Wrentham, MA.
Her family will remember her love for sewing but mostly her love for hosting and attending a good ol' party as she entertained family and friends with a great sense of humor.
She leaves a son: Eric Walker of Lockhart, Texas; her stepchildren: Joseph Gately, Jr. of Norfolk, MA; Debra Hill of North Attleboro, MA; Richard Gately of Franklin, MA and William Gately of Burrillville, Rhode Island; ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
She was the sister of Judith Huffman of Barrington, NH and the late Robert Underhill.
Roselene was the grandmother of the late Michael Joseph Hill and the late Michelle Lee Gately.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from  4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Cumberland Public Safety Union Hall, Cray Street, Cumberland, RI.
