Meghan May McGrath, 35, of North Attleboro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.Born on October 8, 1982 in Attleboro, MA, she was the beloved daughter of David Alan McGrath and Michele (Gaboury) McGrath.Meghan May received her education at the Rhode Island School of Design, Community College of Rhode Island, Massasoit Community College, Green Mountain College, and the Elizabeth Grady School of Esthetics. She was an amazing Artist, a teacher and mentor of beekeeping, a licensed Aesthetician and most recently had been developing her own line of natural skin products from herbs, essential oils and raw honey.A beautiful and energetic soul with a passion for helping others, Meghan May was a warm, loving, and outgoing woman with a kind, patient, and compassionate personality. Always generous and willing to give to others, she greeted everyone with a genuine hug. She loved all of nature and the outdoors, enjoyed gardening vegetables, flowers, and especially herbs. An accomplished Beekeeper, she was an entrepreneur of The Queen Bee Keeper Company in Western Massachusetts, where she provided complete servicing, mentoring, and workshops to those wanting to become beekeepers. Meghan May loved music and she loved to dance. There will now be a big hole in the dancing crowd at the Max Creek shows she frequented for close to 20 years. Additionally, one of Meghan's artistic ventures was entertaining at parties, as Paisley May, where she would often be found balloon tying and face painting children. Her indomitable love for life and for others will forever be missed by those whose lives she touched.In addition to her parents, Meghan is survived by her loving companion, Jeff P. King, of West Springfield, MA. She was the loving and adoring mother of River Liam McGrath-Caffrey, and leaves his father and long-time friend, Brian P. Caffrey of Manville, RI. Meghan also leaves her dear adopted daughter, Alisa Smith of Chatham, MA. She was the beloved sister of Sarah A. McGrath and her companion, Scott P. Cejka of Springvale, ME, and her brother Matthew D. McGrath of North Attleboro, MA. Meghan leaves her dear maternal grandparents, Adeline and Stephen A. Murray, of Blackstone, MA; her special nieces: Maizy Love Cejka and Millie Rose Cejka;. her aunts and uncles; numerous family members near and far; and many cherished friends. Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Meghan May by gathering for a Visitation on Thursday, March 22, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home - the national historic Colonel Obed Robinson Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA, immediately followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m. at Dyer-Lake Funeral Home. The Celebration of Meghan's life will continue immediately following the service at the Elks' Lodge, with music and dancing, as Meghan would have it no other way! WE will dance in memory of Meghan!
