Clifford E. Dieterle Jr.

Clifford E. Dieterle, 89, previously of Sherwood Road, Attleboro, MA. and for the past 2 years at Brookdale Assisted Living, in Attleboro, MA. passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro, MA. He was the beloved husband of the late Jean (Trainor) Dieterle to whom he married on May 18, 1957, having spent the last 67 years together.

Born in Pawtucket, RI., on August 28, 1935, he was the son of the late Clifford E. Dieterle Sr., and Hope E. (Scott) Dieterle.

Clifford obtained a Bachelor's Degree from Bryant College and served in the Army Reserve. He dedicated 40 years of his career to Texas Instruments as a toolmaker. A passionate golfer and a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox, he also cherished his time at Onset Beach and his residence in Sarasota, Florida. Clifford enjoyed spending time watching his grandchildren in their various activities and sporting events.

He is survived by his loving children, Scott P. Dieterle and his wife, Barbara (Stowell) Dieterle of North Attleboro, MA; Mark C. Dieterle of Putnam, CT and Susan Jean Sherck and her husband, Aaron Sherck, of Attleboro, MA; six cherished grandchildren: Roger Dieterle of Attleboro, MA; Matthew Dieterle and his wife, Amanda Dieterle, of Cumberland, RI and Heather Dieterle of North. Attleboro, MA and A.J. Sherck, Trainor Sherck and Spencer Sherck all of Attleboro, MA and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visitation on MONDAY, September 30, 2024, from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm followed by a funeral service at 7:00 pm in the "Memorial Chapel" of the Dyer-Lake Funeral Home, 161 Commonwealth Avenue, Village of Attleboro Falls, North Attleboro, MA.

Burial will be private in St. John's Cemetery, West Street, Attleboro, MA.
