Allan Gerald Reed

June 24, 1944 — June 28, 2020

Allan Gerald Reed, 76, of North Attleboro, MA, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 28, 2020 with his family at his side.  He was the beloved husband of Carol Ann (Schaefer) Reed, whom he married on September 22, 1962.
Born on June 24, 1944 in Bar Harbor, ME, he was the son of the late Archie Reed and the late Catherine (Higgins) Reed.

He enjoyed woodworking in his younger years and more recently simply spending time working on his computer.  More than anything, the center of Allan's life was his beloved family.
In addition to his wife, Carol, he leaves his loving children: Tammy L. Reed and her husband, Jim Antonitis, of Attleboro, MA, and Kevin A. Reed and his wife, Marcia L. Dorsey, of North Attleboro, MA. He was the proud and adoring grandfather of six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  One of nine children, his is survived by his sister, Nancy Chase, of Vermont, and his brother, Gilbert "Gib" Reed, of Maine.  Allan leaves his extended family and many good friends.
