Dyer-Lake's Group Grief & Bereavement Support
Dyer-Lake is pleased to offer free, monthly, in-person Grief Group
led by the Rev. Kelly Thibeault.
A safe time and place to care for yourself as you find comfort in a community that journeys with you through your grief.
Rev. Kelly is the pastor of the First Congregational Church, UCC, on Old Post Road in North Attleboro, where she has served for the last 15 years. During that time, she has also worked with hundreds of grieving families through Dyer-Lake Funeral Home and is a Certified Grief Educator.
Grief Group at Dyer-Lake meets in person, once a month, and offers a safe and welcoming place for those who are grieving to come together and share their experiences with others who are going through a similar situation.
Grief Group can offer numerous benefits, including:
- Feeling less isolated and alone in your grief.
- Gaining understanding and new ideas from others who have similar experiences.
- Receiving emotional validation and understanding.
- Learning coping mechanisms and strategies from other group members.
- Building a sense of community and belonging.
Grief doesn’t end, but it changes. Grief Group doesn’t promise to stop your grieving, but it does offer you are safe place to talk, share, listen, or just be.
Know that whoever you are, and wherever you are on your grief journey, you are welcome here!
Anyone is welcome to attend - as often as needed - whether or not we've served your family.
Simply call us at (508) 695-0200 to learn about this unique complimentary monthly group grief support with Rev. Kelly, or to reserve a place at the next meeting.
